🇩🇪 Donauwörth 🩷🧡

What a beautiful Bavarian town! 🏘️✨ With its colourful historic buildings, charming cobbled streets and picturesque location where the Danube and Wörnitz rivers meet, Donauwörth is such a lovely place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere.

We loved exploring the old town, admiring the traditional architecture and discovering all the little corners that make this place so charming. Would be rude not to sneek in a cheeky Spaghetti Eis 🍨

🇩🇪 Landsberg am L**h 🩷🧡

What a beautiful little Bavarian town! 🏘️✨ With its colourful historic buildings, cobbled streets and the River L**h running right through the heart of it, Landsberg is such a lovely place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere.

✨💒A Rococo masterpiece hidden in the Bavarian Alps⛰️

The Pilgrimage Church of Wies (Wieskirche) blends breathtaking artistry, rich history, and peaceful beauty, earning its place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Built between 1745 and 1754, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated as a masterpiece of Bavarian Rococo architecture, filled with stunning frescoes, intricate details, and an atmosphere of serenity. Originally inspired by a reported miracle in 1738, the church continues to welcome pilgrims and visitors from around the world.

Neuschwanstein Castle 🏰✨

One of Germany’s most famous castles, Schloss Neuschwanstein looks like something straight out of a fairytale. Built in the 19th century for King Ludwig II of Bavaria, it sits dramatically above the village of Hohenschwangau, surrounded by the Alps.

It’s also said to have inspired the look of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. 👑

For our travels, this was definitely one of those “wow, we’re actually here!” moments — mountain scenery, an incredible castle and a pretty spectacular backdrop. 🏔️🩷🧡
