Squashed WW2 Bullet Found Metal Detecting on Yorkshire Coast! 🔫While metal detecting on the Yorkshire Coast I dug up this heavily squashed WW2 bullet!
Probably a .303 calibre, deformed after decades in the sand on the East Yorkshire shoreline. A cool reminder of the military history along the Holderness Coast and North Sea beaches during the war.

Whelk Graveyard – Hundreds of Empty Shells on Yorkshire Coast! 🐚Mind-blowing find on the Yorkshire Coast! I came across a massive whelk graveyard – hundreds of empty common whelk shells washed up from the North Sea.
These big spiral shells once housed huge sea snails. After they died, the waves tumbled and dumped them here on the East Yorkshire shoreline, creating this incredible natural display on the Holderness Coast.

Low Tide Seaweed Pile Full of Shells &Crabs! 🦀Fascinating low-tide moment on the Yorkshire Coast! Took a close look at the washed-up seaweed from the North Sea on the East Yorkshire shoreline – it’s packed with shells and tiny crabs scurrying around.

Delicate Tellin Shell – Is This a Pink One? Yorkshire Coast! 🐚Fragile beachcombing find on the Yorkshire Coast! I picked up this delicate tellin shell with soft pinkish hues, washed up from the North Sea on the East Yorkshire shoreline.
These thin shells are easily broken by waves – a lovely surprise on the Holderness Coast.

Perfect Razor Clam Shell Found on Yorkshire Coast! ⚔️Elegant beachcombing find on the Yorkshire Coast! I discovered this nice intact razor clam shell with its long sword-like shape and glossy stripes, washed up from the North Sea on the East Yorkshire shoreline.
These are favourites among collectors for their smooth texture.

Huge 500-Year-Old Ocean Quahog Shell on Yorkshire Coast! 🐚ncredible find on the Yorkshire Coast! This large ocean quahog shell (also called Icelandic cyprine) washed up from the North Sea on the East Yorkshire shoreline.
These tough clams can live over 500 years – one of the longest-lived animals on Earth! A true deep-sea treasure.

I picked up this nice whelk shell washed up from the North Sea on the East Yorkshire shoreline. Classic spiral shape with that sturdy texture – a common but always satisfying treasure from the Holderness Coast.
