If we look all around at the many marvels we have in the seemingly mundane aspects that make up our lives-we can find something more miraculous than walking on water. The fact we are all sharing a beautiful floating planet, breathing in the air, walking on the earth, seeing the sun rise and set, communicating with each other, and in an indie musicians life-being able to share these unique human experiences through our music is a genuine miracle. There is a lot to be grateful for. Even the bad moments or experiences have their purpose. They can teach us there is good in the world too. The toothaches are there so we all can feel the relief and pure joy that not having that toothache feels like. Within the indie scene there are many moments that bring a sense of pride, belonging and happiness. It’s always a moment of pure joy when these playlists are listened to and compiled. There’s a lot to be grateful for-the opportunity given to do this weekly by DC and the team at Sweet Beets - Indie Music Discovery and Sweet Boosts is certainly one reason. More importantly that each and every indie artist featured and celebrated here on this weekly curated playlist shares with us all their gifts and life experiences through fantastic music is a much valued reason to feel very fortunate. To be a part of and involved in this incredibly supportive and inspiring indie community is definitely something that we all are proud of. Here we have ten more incredible pieces of music from our satisfyingly deep pool of amazingly talented artists who represent an indie community resplendent with a wealth of unique and talented human beings willing to share their experiences of being human. Not only that, but a community that is an overwhelmingly supportive and welcoming environment for us all to be proud to be a part of. There may be small pockets of unwelcoming, uncaring and self serving individuals within our scene but these are really just molehills compared with the monolithic and beautiful mountains of positive, caring and kindhearted human beings who together make for a stunning and simply beautiful place to enjoy and share in the wonderful views. A music community more than willing to celebrate each other’s achievements and one another’s telling of their unique life experience through sound. The bad moments or experiences are our greatest teacher as well. The small pockets of bad moments and individuals in the community are there to help us all realise how many more brilliant human beings and supportive people who are there standing alongside us, no one leading or left behind. The fact that the majority of warm kindhearted people who make this community the supportive place it is also happen to be exceptionally talented artists as well gives more reason to smile. The artists included on every past, present and future edition of this particular playlist (and indeed all playlists and support offered from all around our global indie scene) are there to celebrate the brilliant stories and life experiences told through the magnificent gift we ALL have-to be able to express the wealth of emotions we all have through sound and to be able to touch someone’s heart and soul with a good song is definitely something to be grateful for. The gifts each and everyone from our community brings to the world will always be something to give us all a smile and a third.

Myles💜🙏❤️…yep still wandering around in a recovery haze but getting somewhere at least-and of course huge thanks to a wonderful sister in Shae for not only looking after (or if Miss Pablo would prefer me to say being looked after by) Miss Pablo🐈⬛🙌💜 but for ALL your help over the past year(or years?) especially helping so much with all the physical barriers I’ve struggled with this year, all while working three jobs. The legendary Steve, those three awesome kids and all those animals around you as well- personally I’m so very appreciative of all you guys do.
