I'm excited to be bringing Krash Course: Lyric Writing Workshop to Seahaven Academy on Saturday 27th June 2026.

Whether you write rap, poetry, spoken word, songs, or you've never written a lyric before, this workshop is all about building confidence, finding your voice, and having fun through creativity.

Really proud to share that “Mudfish Legacy”, a film I directed, filmed, and edited through , will be screening at the Cannes Marché du Film as part of the Pavillon AfroNova opening ceremony on May 12th, 2026.

The film forms part of “3X Freedom 2” — a collective short film series exploring restitution, ancestral memory, cultural survival, and the lasting legacy of the transatlantic slave trade.

Created in collaboration with the Restitution Study Group and the Benin Kingdom Museum, “Mudfish Legacy” follows a ceremonial reflection inspired by the symbolic mudfish of the Benin Kingdom and the enduring relationship between memory, transformation, and cultural identity.

Huge thank you to Executive Producer , featured artist .joshua, and everyone involved in helping bring this important work to life.

As someone passionate about meaningful visual storytelling, it’s an honour to have this work included in a space like Cannes alongside powerful conversations surrounding restitution, repatriation, and Afrodescendant cultural history.

Looking forward to the screening + Q&A at Pavillon AfroNova during the Marché du Film.

Picture lock achieved 🎬

Wrapped up a powerful project over the last 2 months one that pushed me creatively across editing, story shaping, graphics, sound and overall post-production workflow.

Can’t share footage just yet, but I’m grateful for the trust, the collaboration and the growth that came with it.

This piece reflects on the history of the Benin Bronzes, their origins in the Kingdom of Benin (modern-day Nigeria), and the ongoing conversation around restitution. It’s not a simple narrative of return or retention — but a complex dialogue about history, accountability, and where these cultural artefacts truly belong.
