I don’t think I fully understood how lucky I was with Type 1 diabetes until I travelled through Cambodia.
Back home, I complain about sensors failing, carrying insulin around and blood sugars ruining my plans. But travelling through Cambodia really opened my eyes to how different life with Type 1 can look when access to insulin, glucose testing and basic diabetes care is much harder.
That’s why I decided to run 100km for Action4Diabetes, a charity supporting young people with Type 1 across Southeast Asia with the supplies and support they need.
And somehow… you’ve already smashed the £1,000 target. ❤️
I’m only 8km into the 100km, and I’ll be back running again very soon, but seeing the donations, shares and messages already has been incredible.
There’s still 92km to go, but this was never really about the running.
It’s about helping make sure where somebody is born doesn’t decide what chance they get at living with Type 1 diabetes.
If you want to help me push this even further and support young people living with Type 1 diabetes, you can donate here 💙👇

Thank you so much to everyone who’s supported it already. 💙
Still a long way to go, but what a start.
