A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE…
Hi everyone.
We have been blocked on the Thai version of FaceBook, วัดไทยไบรคัน, since December 20th. Following a number of appeals, it seems as though we have lost the page for ever along with the 4000 plus friends that we worked hard to built up over the past few years. Most, I imagine would have no idea why we have stopped sharing and we have no way of informing most of them.
We have managed to open up a new FaceBook under the name, วัดไทยไบรตัน เฟ่สบุ้ค ใหม่ ประเทศ อังกฤษ. Unfortunately, as a new account, we are limited to inviting 5 people per day and also are unable to Live Stream anything until we have at least 100 followers and/or the account is 60 days old. The lack of transparency for our temple, being unable to share our daily activities, morning and evening chanting, Dhamma talks etc. has resulted in a great loss of crucial, financial support for Wat Thai Brighton and also the daily interaction with our suppoerters who like to visit, offer food and particpate in our events.
Ajahn Khammuean and myself, plus our hard working trustees ask kindly if each of you would send a friends request to our new FaceBook page and also consider sharing bthis post with others, especially in the Thai community. Hopefully the limited daily allowance of friends does not apply to those asking to join.
