Nine Symphonies Limited Edition Giclée Prints visualising the recorded legacy of the symphonies of Beethoven. Stewart. There are four variants in the Beethoven Edition.

Nine Symphonies: 'Beethoven Edition' is the first in a series of a limited edition giclée prints by Michael J. Each print comprises 9 pie charts representing the nine symphonies of Beethoven. Slices represent the individual movements, and the size of each slice (movement) is derived from the mean average of 33 recordings by conductors who have recorded complete cycles, starting with Felix Weingartner in the 1920's through to Daniel Barenboim in 2014.

Limited Edition Art Prints inspired by recordings of Beethoven’s Nine Symphonies. Arguably the most influential symphonies in the history of music!

Nine Symphonies started life after I spent several weeks researching the timings of each movement of every symphony across 32 complete recorded cycles - from Felix Weingartner through to Daniel Barenboim. I then averaged the timings and created pie charts for each symphony. Using this data I created a series of limited edition prints.
