TAXI is a collective of like minded individuals who share a love of music and culture with its roots in soul, house and disco. Born in the early 00’s, Taxi traversed the underground bars and clubs of Brighton, peaking with monthly night which
played host to acts and artists that included Bah Samba, Dj Snowboy, Da Lata and Seiji of Bugs in the Attic. After such highs there are bound to be lows and

the TAXI crew fell into a spiral of day jobs, children and gazebos. But the taxi twinkle never stopped shining and now Taxi has returned to its bar roots hosting regular parties at our new spiritual home in Brighton; The West Hill Tavern

Our Story

Taxi is a Chris Boland, Pete Qualm and Steve Campion

A collective of like minded individuals who look a nice party and share a love of music with its roots in soul and disco. Born in the early 00’s, Taxi traversed the underground bars and clubs of Brighton, peaking with monthly night which played host to acts and artists that included Bah Samba, Dj Snowboy, Da Lata and Seiji of Bugs in the Attic. After such highs there are bound to be lows and the TAXI crew fell into a spiral of day jobs, children and gazebos. But the Taxi flame never went out and now it hosts parties across Brighton and beyond. We hope to see you on the dance floor (or at least at the bar).
