Jenny, the joy of the Lord is your strength! ❤️

That has been my anchor word in this season.

This is the face of a mama who has been woken up at 4:30am by her four-year-old for the last four nights. 😩😂

Today, I am especially grateful for friends who were kind enough to offer us a ride to church and back. Truly, God always goes ahead of us and prepares the way, because I would have been so tired trying to get on a bus with a grumpy little boy this morning. 😂

I am grateful that I still have joy in my heart, even while walking the narrow road.

So, this is my little reminder to you today: the joy of the Lord is your strength. 🤍

I pray you always have a reason to smile, even in the seasons that stretch you.

PS: What’s your favourite slide? ☺️ I’m honestly in love with every single one of them, and I’ve missed taking pictures of myself!

I had more to post, but I didn’t want to overwhelm you with all this beauty. ☺️😂

This month reminded me, once again, that God always provides exactly what we need, whether it is something big or something small, and always at the right time.

Looking back, I see His faithfulness woven through every moment. I made beautiful memories with my little sunshine, and I am so grateful for every smile, every answered prayer, every lesson, and every reminder that God has been with us through it all.

As we step into a new month, I want to carry those reminders with me.

Today was one of those days where parenting an autistic child brought me to my knees.

The kind of day where you know exactly what your child needs, but you can’t remove the thing causing their distress. You can only hold space, stay patient, pray for wisdom, and remind yourself that this moment will pass.

What happened on that bus ride reminded me how much words matter.

One person saw a child struggling and made assumptions.

Another person saw a mum trying her best and offered kindness.

She probably has no idea how much those words meant to me. In that moment, “you are doing an amazing job” was the encouragement my heart needed.

Parenting looks different for every family. Some battles are visible, while others happen quietly behind closed doors or on a bus ride home after church.

If you see a parent struggling with their child in public, please choose compassion before judgement. A little kindness might be the thing that helps them get through that moment. 🤍

And to the lady who offered us that tissue and those words of encouragement, thank you. God knew exactly what I needed to hear that day. 🥹
