Happy Father’s Day to Me, Not the deadbeat who owes thousands in arrears of child maintenance and fraudulently claims benefits while working so he only has to pay £29 a month for 3 children, isn’t allowed to see 4 of his kids due to being an abusive, steroid, injecting, tax dodging waste of space. I hope all 5 of the children you have nothing to do with and their amazing mothers have a fantastic day!

Life has been really bloody hard this last year.
Iv found strength in doing the things I can like getting our gorgeous kitten and treating myself to things I want and doing things that make me feel good.
My health has been a serious concern and I still have a long way to go but for now this is the medication I’m having to take daily just to make it through the day and even with this I’m still struggling.
With Father’s Day coming up I saw this book which made me giggle. Then I bought myself some jewellery and a sweary colouring book as a father’s day present to myself.

The hardest part of supporting new Sen parents is getting them to understand that no one is going to come and save their child or swoop in and give adequate support. That there is no actual “support” and that all you can do is better yourself and arm yourself with knowledge to navigate the broken and ineffective systems that exist by arranging your own network of support.

For many neurodivergent individuals the unjust nature of this revelation can take months to come to terms with. Some go through the motions but it’s only as they are hit in the face with brick walls that they come to realise you have to chose your battles and save your energy to fight not for what is right but for what will benefit your child the most. I was the second type who only learnt the hard way!

This week has actually been a new revelation for me in realising that even now I still held out some hope. Iv learnt again that that’s not true so back I go to sorting things myself.

Public service announcement Roblox has allowed games with discord and chats that circumvent parental controls and allow children to chat.
Within minutes of being in several games my son with chat disabled was approached and told to go to the other games with this chat enabled where immediate he was asked for information about himself and his location!
Luckily it was me logged into his account at the time after he made me aware!
I have restricted Roblox so he can no longer play unless with me or his siblings.
I play Roblox and it is a mine of grooming I come across predators who are clearly not children all the time please parents be vigilant I know many of you don’t game or even know how to restrict things like chat but this is too far for me. I just wanted to make as many people as possible aware
