We'll be utilising the Neve Room, with Neve Genesys Console, classic outboard gear, cosy live room together with the SSL Room housing a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system.

'Window' is a remote musical collaboration between patients at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish, UK (Devon Partnership NHS Trust), their music instructor, Matt Smith, recording artists Mike Ladd, John Matthias and Jay Auborn, dBs Pro and staff and students (new and old) from dBs Music Bristol.

Langdon Hospital supports men from the South West of England who, as a consequence of their mental health needs, have had contact with the legal system and require a safe and secure environment that enables them to receive a wide range of treatments, therapies and care to assist in their recovery. During the Covid-19 pandemic, music instructor, Matt Smith was unable to move freely around the hospital and decided to alleviate the patients' occupational deprivation by initiating a remote musical collaboration, inviting external recording artists to remix their music. This is the result of that collaborative process. All of the music was written after April 2020 and is inspired by different interpretations of the concept of the Window.

EARTH FELT THE WOUND the new album by Kate and Mike Westbrook is out now.

We had lots of fun recording & mixing this. It’s a bold and timely album taking its title from John Milton’s ‘paradise lost’

Happy to say our studios and facilities are now open again with a rock solid COVID-19 policy in place. 😷👍 We’re being extra cautious, taking it one day at a time, ensuring we can get back to being creative whilst keeping everyone safe and comfortable.
