A massive Happy 99th Birthday to the legendary Sir David Attenborough!

We have had the immense privilege of working alongside Sir David on some unforgettable projects (like our Natural Curiosity series pictured here) and he has always brought great humour and fun to each and every shoot.

Over the years his boundless knowledge and passion for the natural world has inspired millions across the globe, and continues guide future generations to see the beauty - and fragility - of our planet. Here’s to many more 🎈

💚 While filming Airborne, we were committed to do more than just highlight the beauty of the natural world—we wanted to protect it, too. Here are some ways we reduced our carbon footprint during production:

✅ Local Filming: We filmed 10 sequences right here in the UK, proving you don’t always need to travel far to uncover extraordinary stories.
✅ Hiring Local Experts: For 12 international shoots we hired local crews whose expertise enriched our storytelling and minimized the environmental impact of flying in teams.
✅ Sourcing Locally: When filming abroad, we sourced camera equipment locally for 10 shoots, avoiding the carbon cost of flying gear from the UK.
These choices not only lowered our carbon footprint but also supported local industries and brought fresh perspectives to our storytelling.

This illuminating 3 part series will examine the surprising ways in which living things are connected to the phases of the moon as it waxes and wanes, from humpback whales and elephants to tree frogs and dung beetles. 🐾🌙
