šŸŽ‰ Huge congratulations to Five Mile Films’ very own Celia Qu on being named as one of Broadcast Magazine 2025 Hot Shots! 🌟

Before finding her passion in the edit suite, Celia wore many hats — from corporate videographer to DIT and camera op — working with top indies like Nutopia, Silverback Films, and Plimsoll šŸŽ„

She joined us as an edit assistant on The Dog House (Series 6), sharpened her skills through the ScreenSkills Unscripted Junior Editing scheme, and quickly rose to become a junior editor on the BBC’s Lucan šŸŽžļø

Celia also launched and led The Dog House’s YouTube channel, cutting over 50 short films. Thanks to her sharp storytelling and digital know-how, the channel quickly racked up views — with some edits reaching millions on Instagram and TikTok 🐾

We’re so proud to see her recognised as part of the 2025 Emerging Talent initiative, which seeks out the brightest and most promising individuals from across the television industry. Well deserved, Celia! šŸ‘ šŸŽ¬

Have you joined Neil on the hunt for Lucan? Watch the whole series of 'Lucan' on BBC iPlayer!

It’s a mystery that’s fascinated the UK for nearly five decades. On 7th November 1974, Sandra Rivett was found murdered in a Belgravia townhouse. The prime suspect? Richard John Bingham, the 7th Earl of Lucan, an Eton-educated aristocrat who vanished without a trace.

In this compelling series, we follow Neil Berriman, a Hampshire builder, on his personal quest for justice. Neil’s journey is fuelled by a profound connection—Sandra was his birth mother. For 20 years, he’s been obsessed with solving the case, digging through archives, talking to key players, and examining Lucan’s life in detail. With journalist Glen Campbell’s support, Neil uncovers new leads that span continents, from Africa to Australia.

Will Neil’s relentless search finally reveal the truth?
