X-AMNT Music is thrilled to announce the release of "Ya Mad," a powerful new drum & bass single from legendary Bristol artists DJ Bunjy & MC Joe Peng. The track will be available exclusively on Juno Download and Spotify on October 29th, 2025, with a full worldwide release to follow on 6th november, 2025.
MC Joe Peng and DJ Bunjy are leading figures of the UK rave scene. MC Joe Peng is famous for his iconic 'Sasha and Joe Peng' set from the universe, while the duo together as founding members of the band Laid Blak represent the quintessential Bristol music story. Formed from the partnership of two veterans of the rave and jungle scenes, the pair spent the '90s causing havoc on dance floors across the country. Building on their success, they began to look for a new musical direction, drawing inspiration from the melting pot of Bristol's music scene with its reggae and sound system culture at its core.
Further expanding the release, the single also features an exclusive remix from the talented Drum & Bass DJ and producer MiddleGround, who hails from Weston-super-Mare, just outside of Bristol. In his six years of performing, MiddleGround has rocked crowds at major events like Nass Festival, Vanwest, and Godney Gathering, as well as at popular Bristol clubs such as Basement 45 and Dare 2. His sets, known for their heavy blends and sick jungle and roller tune selection, have earned him support slots for heavyweight artists like Crossy, Frenetic, Subcriminal, and Dope Ammo.
