Alex is an experienced presenter, emcee and content creator based in the UK. He started his media career in newspapers, joining The Plymouth Herald as a reporter in 2015. In 2017, he moved to a senior editorial role at The Bristol Post where he showcased his talents as a writer, video editor, podcaster and on-camera reporter. After four years working in the print industry, Alex joined ITV News. He was a vital part of the channel's West Country news operation and was appointed Breakfast Presenter in 2021. He presented regional bulletins during Good Morning Britain, which is one of ITV's flagship programmes. In 2022, Alex swapped broadcast news for events – joining GDS Group as a presenter and content creator. In this unique and varied role, Alex hosts and moderates in-person, virtual and hybrid events for a range of clients - including IBM, AWS, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Hitachi and others. Alex is passionate about the outdoors, sport, sustainability and using technology to make positive change.
