Regularly playing for Frogs in Spain a few years ago really showed me how important DJing is to me and this was the main driving factor to me wanting to pursue that further, leading me to move back to Bristol just over 2 years ago.

The photo below is from my first gig at Frogs in Nov 23 after moving back and I want to say a huge thank you to DJ Pod for passing my name to Jason Frog back then, and for Jason continuing to ask me back to play pretty much every other Frogs since then.

The timing of this memory is uncanny as it is pretty much to the day that 2 years later that I have started the process of launching my own label, Deem Tracks, as well as getting my first ever track distributed.

And I am not exaggerating when I say that the faith that Chris, Koh, Martin & Jason have shown and continue to show in me which has given me the encouragement and determination to keep pushing over the last couple of years.

Every set at Frogs is special for me, for many reasons, not just musically and the amount of gratitude I have to be asked to play never diminishes.
Whatever happens in my musical career, it will always be built on the foundations that Tribe of Frog, on both sides of the Channel, have allowed me to lay.
So when I say Tribe of Frog is my musical home - now you know how deeply I mean it.

Lastly, but definitely not least, I wanna thank everyone that has supported me through the way because without you dancing to whatever I decide to play, nothing would ever have been built on those foundations.

So while I won't physically be at Frogs this week as I recover from surgery, I am really looking forward to being back next year!

A warning has been issued after traces of a dangerous sedative were found in ketamine circulating Manchester.

The Manchester Drug Analysis & Knowledge Exchange (MANDRAKE) shared the alert via Instagram today (November 19), claiming that multiple samples it had tested came back positive for medetomidine, a powerful non-opiod sedative used by vets on large animals.

The Manchester-based harm reduction organisation says that when medetomidine is combined with ketamine, it's likely to cause "extreme prolonged sedation, which could prove fatal," also warning of the risks of "sexual assault and robbery" as a result of being sedated.

While concerns around ketamine usage usually tend to be around the effects of the drug itself, such as dependency, bladder damage and overdose, there has been a rise in drugs, such as xylazine, found in ketamine.

Though medetomidine is similar to xylazine, a tranquilliser which is often used in combination with ketamine in a veterinary context, medetomidine is said to be "200 times more potent."

MANDRAKE recommends users test ketamine with medetomidine test strips, and wait "at least an hour" after taking a small bump to take another.

If you believe your friend or anyone else may have taken contaminated ketamine and has become unconscious, it's important to contact a medical or welfare professional immediately, ensure their airways are unblocked and put them in the recovery position until help arrives.

Just catching up on my socials after a pretty mental week.

Last week I had the pleasure of playing at in Exeter for the first time. Absolutely fantastic little club!

Having a mini roadtrip with the legend that is and learning more about her creation

Have to admit, we both thought that our hearing would be damaged before entering the club, as we grabbed some food beforehand where the most awful karaoke was being.... Screeched 🤣🤣

Anyway, once in the club it was an absolutely belting night! Kudos to Andy Holdsworth and what he's created and creating there. Can't wait to be back next year.

It's this many weeks until Tessellate at Move in Exeter.
Catch me playing from 23:00-00:00 playing some full on daytime vibes getting you ready for the amazing Psibindi , who's playing a 2 hour set including live vocals.

Move is properly on the charge at the moment, and it's looking like it is becoming one of the predominant venues in the south west, and I really can't wait to play my debut set in Exeter there.

This Saturday I have the honour once again of playing at TRiBE of FRoG , closing out the techno room and can't wait to play alongside Neurodriver again.

This is the 25th year since Frogs started and has become special to a lot of people including me, and this years Halloween Ball will absolutely be another fantastic event!

Hoping to give my new track "From A Distance" it's first airing too ;)

Had the pleasure of meeting whilst in Ibiza, and he did me the honour of giving my current work in progress a once over.

I always finding interesting listening to the live stories of the pioneers of techno, and how it has changed and evolved over the years, but still remains very true to its roots.
