Our final newsletter of the year has arrived. December always brings a reflective mood, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, or simply enjoy some quieter days with people you care about. It is a natural moment to pause and take stock, however you mark the season.

This issue feels like a fitting way to close the year. It includes our conversation with Joe Neil, whose energy and outlook are truly inspiring. It also features a wonderful piece from Andrew O’Mahoney, who shares the story of how friands became part of his life along with his recipe for making them at home.
