Now that these two A1 boards have been installed I can share an image. It was quite an involved project, meeting up with one of the Parish Councillors and walking around the village to get a better idea of what was needed - that seems such a long time ago, as it was on one of the very hot days last August. The illustration is by the super-talented Jane Bottomley who I have worked with for almost 44 years!

The second board is identical apart from the YOU ARE HERE label.

I've been given permission to share this spread, ahead of publication in the Year Books. This is the eighth year that I've put together a page for Sue so I must be doing something right. I can't wait to see her and her beautiful Tibetan Terriers at Crufts.

A fast turnaround was required for this flyer. I received text and the image on Wednesday and printed copies were delivered to my client on Friday - sticking to my mantra 'fast, friendly and reliable'. 😍

'Today's office'.

This afternoon was spent on a guided tour of a local village to gather information and inspiration for an Information board. What a joy it was too. I think my highlights were seeing dozens of Swallows on the newly dug pond and seeing that 'Merlin' had picked up on the sound of a Buzzard. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into this project, and working closely with the immensely talented Jane Bottomley - I certainly don't know any other illustrator that would put so much effort into research.

We were asked by the client how long we'd worked together - quick calculations as we first met when I was expecting my first son, Toby = 43 years!!!

The ice creams and cold water afterwards were most welcome.

Online design tools, like Canva, make it easy to create eye-catching designs. But when preparing files for print, do they hinder more than help?

Sally isn’t a show dog but we entered a Tibetan Terrier fun dog show yesterday (a combined breed club FunFest) - she only managed to get first in the Veteran group!
