His career began in Barcelona, Spain in the 2000's where he started producing and recording bands and singer-songwriters of all genres. With such experience in a multicultural city, Darryll began to follow some of his clients to their homelands to fulfill proj

ects which then led to working with other associated artists in many different parts of the world. Trips to New York in 2012 and 2015 became very important to Darryll's development as he started knocking on the doors of some of the top studios in the city which then led to him assisting and engineering for clients in studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. This was when the taste for studio life became a very high priority. On his return to Scotland, the birth of his first creative space gave him the foundations to build on his experiences. He set up a small recording studio in a flat in Cowdenbeath, Fife, which served as a production house for many local artists. Whilst doing this, he also enrolled in college so as to refine his knowledge of audio engineering and sound production. The journey continued on to recording and mixing for Sofar Sounds, working as in-house engineer at a top studio in Glasgow, and freelancing all over Britain, Europe and USA, where Darryll has continued to work with multiple artists, genres and formats including TV, Film, Game and Audio Books.

Darryll has a vision and goal of working with as many artists as he possibly can from very different genres, pushing and expanding his boundaries as a producer and engineer.

New album I produced and mixed from "It Was Here He Received His Only Formal Education" released recently and just received my copy in the post all the way from Calgary!

I've worked with Kevin for the last 3 years, helping him shape the sound of his records and helping him get better recordings with each and every song from across the pond.

It's been a pleasure from day 1. Working with someone who is so open to collaboration and new ideas is a real breath of fresh air.

So many awesome performers on this record from all over the world, such an awesome time putting it all together with Kevin.

Cannot wait to start the next journey with him and see how much better we can make our art in 2025.

Great seeing old friends do their thing on stage.

absolutely smashing it out the park, band were incredible. Great surprise to see a band who I've never seen before in who nailed the support slot and back on stage after a lengthy hiatus from the game and sounding better than ever before.

Congrats to everyone involved on a great gig and superb to see friendly faces after such a long time.

Early Christmas gift from Canadian outfit , sending me a fresh press of "5KG", their new EP I produced and mixed.

After almost 4 years, many major life events and lots of patience, today  release their debut album "Shared Hallucinations" on all platforms.

I adore this album. I can not thank the guys enough for allowing me on board and trusting me to steer the ship and produce this thing. The experience of making it will live with me until the end. They even let me play instruments on this one and I have a guitar solo... (never thought I'd say that in my lifetime 🤣)

Throwback to the sessions at in Coach House in 2021 and 2022. Had an absolute blast making a wonderful album that will soon make the light of day in the coming months.

Treated myself to a ISA Two, used these preamps for years in so many studios and loved them! (Really need rack ears for my Avalon!)

This takes me up to a 16 audio channel travel rig, along with the pre's, 6176 pre and the V5 pre, all going through my Pulse 16 converter and into .protools
