So, we had a SUP race!
And it looked absolutely spectacular 😀

We need to say a few huge ‘thank you’s.
First, thanks to everyone at Burton Sailing Club for hosting us, providing safety and (most importantly) food and drink. It’s a fabulous venue and we’re thrilled to be able to use it.

CALLING ALL JUNIORS!

With our first race 'just around the corner' (we've all heard that phrase before) let's talk about the kids!

Children are welcome at our races, although we don't have a specific category for them at Burton and Bartley, we can and will accommodate them. We do however have a junior specific category at Pitsford on 18th July! Juniors will complete 1 lap of the technical course, a shortened distance course (max 2km) and straight line sprints! If Mum and Dad aren't racing they can relax on the terrace outside the licensed bar and watch the action.

Everyone gets a medal to mark their achievement and there will be prizes! Every junior who takes part will be entered in to a raffle to win a special prize. One of the prizes is a Golden Ticket donated by the nice people at Lucky Chuck's Leisure Lounge in Kettering. This entitles to holder to 2 hours of free gaming at the venue for up to 8 people! Check out their page to see what is on offer (their pizzas are delicious).

Entry for our Pitsford Junior event is only £20 and gets you access to the water all weekend (camping is available at £5 per night). An absolute bargain for a weekend away!

Historically, I’ve used ‘a faff’ (Go Team Faff!), but more recently have used ‘horde’!

Whatever it is, there’s a bunch of them heading the Foremark for tomorrow’s race. Wishing all of you a safe journey and looking forward to seeing you all on the water 😀

Right we have just released the last few places

We have opened it up for Saturday's race at Foremark Reservoir and offering 10 more racer slots.

Once these have gone The start line will be full.

If you want to get in on the action you need to be quick especially if your signing up with your mates.

Don't risk FOMO get in there quick to secure one of those last places.
