We are planning our next community outreach project The Little Winter Market on the 1st & 2nd Nov 2025. This will be the first of our market series at One Community.

The Little Winter Market will be filled with a festive atmosphere in a rustic setting within our old school charm halls and beautiful gardens. The Old School Cafe will be opened and supporting the day with our delicious menu with some specials like mulled wine and there will be live music. The Flower Hut and a cyanotype artist will be part of this market. We are looking for more ethical+local makers of beer, cheese, chutney, fudge, craft & anything that celebrates the uniqueness of Suffolk to join us.

One Community is about People Helping People. One of our on-going Community Project is NOURISH.

What is Nourish? It is about…

1. Building communities through combating food poverty & loneliness. We serve meals & provide a space to gather for our Nourish guests at The Old School Cafe. Forming friendships and providing support for each other and with our volunteers. We have something on everyday except Sundays. On Mondays 11am to 1.30pm we shut the cafe and serve hot meals, drinks & cakes to our Nourish guests. Tuesdays through to Saturdays 9.30am to 10.30am we serve Nourish breakfasts.

2. Partnering local businesses and working towards zero food wastage. Nourish is supported by generous donations from local businesses including Rougham Hall Nursery and The Friendly Loaf.

3. Self funding through pay it forward schemes & donations. We can continue to make positive impact in our community through your generous support. Donate to our cause or come visit us at Old school Cafe & have a meal with us & share one with someone else with our Pay It Forward scheme.

We are working hard at One Community to bring you Spire Rooms, a collection of reglowed hire spaces.

We see the Spire Rooms collection as ethical hire spaces offered to social impact organizations, charities, and ethical businesses. We focus on providing flexible spaces and fair prices that encourage collaboration and community.

We thought you might like a sneak preview of our reglow in progress…Presenting Fern Room. She is one of our smaller rooms but she packs in the punches. An intimate and cozy light filled space with outlook and access into lush private gardens on our grounds. Rustic and comfortable furnishings together with a small pantry will allow you to transform the space easily, from a tranquil therapy room to a lively meeting space.

Drop by this summer. On our grounds, we have a lush shaded with ample outdoor seating. A perfect breakfast or lunch spot to meet up with family and friends or spend some quiet time with a book.

Try our summer specials which have been curated from seasonal produce. From light salads on flatbread to our crowd favourite watermelon & feta cheese salad. Treat yourself to our delicious daily summer bakes; key lime cake, coconut bundt cake, lemon slices and chocolate raspberry cake. Cool off with our refreshing ice-cold coffees, juices & shakes.

Introducing Sophie’s Anchor
We’re excited to launch Sophie’s Anchor — a monthly drop-in café created by Sophie, who saw the need for a safe, welcoming space for children with a loved one affected by cancer.

It’s a chance for kids to connect, eat together, and get creative with nature-based activities — all in a calm, friendly environment where they’re free to just be themselves.
