Last year, around this time, our parents visited us in the UK 🇬🇧 for the very first time and this is an unforgettable milestone because it was their first-ever flight experience. I've always dreamt of giving my parents their first flight experience and God did it. Looking back now, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Today, Google Photos reminded me that exactly a year ago, this incredible moment became a reality. I’m deeply thankful to God for making it all possible.
Not only did they get to experience the joy of flying for the first time, but they also had the chance to explore a country they had only ever seen in pictures. Seeing the excitement on their faces and hearing my Dad describe the entire journey from take-off to landing, was truly priceless. Even now, he still talks about the flight with so much wonder, as if it was straight out of a movie😃. They also stood in front of Buckingham Palace, a place they never imagined they would see in person. That moment alone was beyond special.
Thinking about it now, I realize just how much this experience meant, not just to them but also to me. There’s something deeply fulfilling about witnessing their joy and amazement, knowing that a lifelong dream had come true.
The year of 2024 owes me nothing. I will always be thankful for moments like these🙏🏾🙏🏾.
