Update on the Cambridge May Balls noise.
Turns out Cambridge City Council actively monitors noise levels during each ball with the colleges and their consultants.
Every college runs a complaints phone line on the night. If they can't resolve it you call 01223 457000 or 0300 303 8389 and a duty officer responds.
There is also an online nuisance complaints form on cambridge.gov.uk if you don't want to call.
May Balls run 19 to 26 June this year. If your sleep or your kids or your pets are affected, you have a process and you have a right to use it.
Share this so Cambridge residents actually know their options before the week starts.

Honestly, I took this photo and realised it looks way more expensive than my actual life feels right now.

I’m currently buried under a mountain of reviews and emails, but the light hit this bottle of Gordon's and I had to stop. It’s the Elderflower and Citrus version. Definitely looking forward to trying this later.
