Kerry headed to prison last night at Shrewsbury Prison But for a ghost tour! 👻
Opened in 1793 and closed in 2013, supposedly the most haunted prison in the UK, ghostly sightings include a grey lady, a former governor, a randy man and spirits of children.
Worth a visit and a big thank you to the two lovely hosts for our spooky interesting tour 👻

This evening, we enjoyed a very interesting talk on the Huntingdon Witch Trials...and learned some new stuff in the process, too! 🧹

A few interesting bits we jotted down:
- Huntingdon was one of the centre of witch trials, with at least three witch trials taking place here.

- Huntingdon was one of the busiest roads in England, being a good place for travellers to stop due to it being a direct route between York and London.

- Archeologists discovered remains of a gallows at Mill Common, where the hangings from the famous case of the Warboys Witches took place. No skeletal remains have been found near the gallows as of yet.

- One of the last people sentenced under the Witchcraft Act 1735 was Helen Duncan, a spiritualist medium who was exposed as a fraud and imprisoned in 1944.

It's not all paranormal with us...we're history buffs, too! Tonight saw us venture into Ely for Heritage Days tours of: Cromwell House, Ely Cathedral, Stained Glass Museum, Ely Museum.

The stained glass museum had a Wild Folk exhibition, which was lovely! 😊

Kerry has just come back from Cryptid Con UK: Movies and Monsters in Bridgwater, Somerset.
This event was arranged by the team behind My Bigfoot Life, Mythical Legends Podcast and Legend Seekers.

It was a really interesting event and met so many lovely people. Finally got to hear a talk by Dr Mireya Mayor, Ryan RPG Golembeske and Gwendolyn Purcell, who are really interesting, inspiring and friendly people.
Sadly missed the Russell Acord talk, but got a copy of both of his books, so looking forward to reading those.

Our stall neighbours were the lovely guys from Noctilux Games. We have a copy of their Crypid Smash game and a copy of the bestiary book Kryptothera. The artwork is amazing and we can’t wait to play the game.

Also managed to visit Glastonbury and have a drive through the Quantock and Mendip Hills as well as Cheddar Gorge.

We will be doing an episode about the conference soon!🫈
