We’ve taken on a 1934 house and, as we’re quickly discovering, an old house always has another surprise waiting for you. Damp, repairs, things we definitely weren’t expecting — and plenty of trips for building supplies!

We thought buying a new campervan would mean fewer problems… we were wrong! 😳

After everything that’s gone wrong with our WildAx, we’re focusing on two of the biggest issues — the new Truma Combi boiler and the trim around the van.

But there’s been a big development…

🔧 Truma came to our house to sort the boiler
🔧 WildAx sent someone to our house to repair the trim

So have we FINALLY got to the bottom of our campervan problems? 🤞

Well… our Essex adventure certainly didn’t go according to plan! 😂

We get HELD UP before we’ve even really started, go in search of notorious highwayman Dick Turpin, brave a creepy cellar full of cobwebs and HUGE spiders 🕷️, explore beautiful Hempstead and Thaxted… and then something completely unexpected lands nearby! 🚁😳

It turned into one of those days where you never quite know what’s going to happen next!

Police cars are a bit of an obsession, so this was a massive bucket-list tick ✅💙

Yes, there are some absolutely stunning classic cars, but for us, it’s the whole day that makes this event so special.

🎶 Live music
💃 Dancing
☕ Great coffee
🚘 Chatting with the people behind the cars and hearing their stories
🍯 Trying peanut butter honey
🍿 And even honey popcorn!

We had such a brilliant day soaking up the atmosphere, meeting people and, of course, admiring some incredible cars.

🚨 JANE DID WHAT?! 😂

We had such a brilliant day out at the Classic Car Show — hundreds of gorgeous classics, rock ’n’ roll dancing, plenty of laughs… and then Jane got behind the wheel of a police car! 🚓😳

Of course, it wasn’t long before she found the SIREN! 🚨😂

There’s loads packed into this one — beautiful cars, dancing, coffee, treats, ice cream and some fantastic people. ❤️
