I finally had some spare time to be a bit creative, so I dusted off the sewing machine and got on with a project I'd be meaning to do for years. Inspired by Simon, a bloke in the woods I now have my own camp kitchen tool roll. I couldn't have done it without his video tutorial, and it's nowhere near as good as his, but I'm happy with the results. I'll be testing it out on my next camp 😊

A few glorious days in Swaledale, the Yorkshire Dales. Hiking, pubs, and taking in the fresh air and the green grass. The south is so yellow at the moment.
It was the first proper trip out for the Oztent, and it handled the rainfall and sunny days perfectly. Now on to Scotland...

Summer can officially do one... I've had enough now and would like to venture outside. Bring back crisp autumn mornings with a touch of frost. Long hikes on misty days where it feels like you're in middle-earth. Snowy adventures in peaks and valleys. Cosy nights in with the curtains drawn and the fire lit. Just no more summer, I'm melting 🥵

A fantastic day at the Orford summer gathering. Axe throwing, spoon carving, tree canopy ride, catapult making, knife show.... loads of great people, great food, and live music. Thanks to Lois Orford and Ben Orford for putting on the event, hosting everyone, and allowing us into their home and workshop.
