Muchwood offers woodland plots for full burials, ash interments and for the scattering of ashes. Each plot includes a memorial tree and recycled oak name plaque. By purchasing your plot now, this gives you the peace of mind that your final resting place is all in order for whenever it is required. We welcome any religion or non-religious beliefs.

It’s lovely to meet families at our burials and hear stories of their loved ones. Some have had an amazing life and so it keeps their memory alive to share these stories. One recent family, the Pomeroys, have an interesting ancestry too. Mr Pomeroy was laid to rest amongst the long grasses and foxgloves with minimum disturbance to the surrounding environment 💚

We have noticed that someone has cut the grass and wildflowers in our central area at Muchwood without our permission. We understand that a minority of our customers prefer the manicured look but together with our partners the WLT we are creating an environment in which wildflowers and grasses are growing, ensuring butterflies, bees and other pollinators can thrive. Cutting these down is counterproductive so please contain any mowing to your own family grave and if you have any issues contact Muchwood management. Photo was taken before the grass and flowers were cut down. 💚
