I’m still the PR professional you know, the same ideas, drive, and creativity, but from today, I’ll be doing it under my maiden name; welcome back Josie Clark.

There are a few reasons for this change, but the most important is to honour the memory of my late mother. She was a constant source of encouragement, pride, and love (and also my much-missed proof reader!), and carrying her name feels like the most meaningful way to keep her close in my work and life.

While my name is changing, everything else remains the same at Rise Communications Limited; my commitment to my clients, my passion for telling stories that connect, and my belief in the power of great PR to make a difference.

Here’s to new chapters, familiar faces, and a name that means the world to me.

Media reach soared to 440 million, a 228% increase on 2024.

Major coverage highlights included 10 mentions on BBC Radio 2 and features on MSN and The Sun.

A huge success for National Fish and Chip Day and the industry as a whole. 👏

While spending a very enjoyable time in a client’s archive (more of their amazing story to follow) I found this newspaper from June 1955. Back then it was the News Chronicle…it went on to become part of the Daily Mail Similar reporting? Over to you!

2025 may not be a leap year, but this February is a giant leap forward for Rise!

Following on from being one half of a successful partnership for over a decade, Josie has now taken over the sole running of the Agency. Surrounded by an army of trusted partners, supporters and her own highly skilled team, Josie has big plans to take Rise Communications Ltd on a journey of growth and development.

We would like to thank you for your support on our journey this far. We will be focussed on continuing with the same personal attention and second-to-none customer service you have grown to know and trust and with years of expertise in PR, marketing and event management, we are confident that working in partnership with you, we can Rise together.

Well done to Mindful Bee Publications Belinda Collins and Stephanie Unthank and the wonderful children who took part in the ITV News Meridian filming yesterday.

Whoever said don’t work with children and animals got it so wrong!
