We want to hear your views on the Government’s plans for “Local Government Reorganisation” and “Devolution” in Norfolk. These plans could see the biggest change to local government in our area in 50 years and it’s vital that we know how residents and businesses feel about it.

Fill out the survey on Future East and have your voice heard 👉 https://loom.ly/K1AxR1E

Walking the footpath today between areolite and Carbrooke village and carbrooke end near the farm, we noticed a pile of bread…. On further inspection there was also a boiled bag of rice (in the bag with an extremely small hole pierced in to it) some dog food and dog treats
We cleared as much as we could as looked a bit suspicious.
There was also a lot of dog poo down that end today 😞
So please be aware that this is there if dogs are off their lead or even on their leads as they may find what we couldn’t get up off the floor

Important Car Park Charging Update

Today at Breckland Council’s Cabinet meeting the Leader of the Council announced that as of today the council will be pausing the implementation of it’s car park charging policy. This follows the news last week from the Government, on Devolution for Norfolk and it will now be for the administration of the future devolved body (whatever that looks like)to take forward.

Breckland will still continue its current dialogue with its market towns on possible transfer/leasing of the car parks.
