Collaborating with the “Transforming Towns” team within the Welsh Government has been a great experience for everyone at JM Creative. Travelling the length and breadth of Wales…we’re producing short films highlighting how regeneration can breathe new life into a town. We’re just back from Rhyl having seen first hand what a difference the Queen’s Market is making in this part of North Wales.

In the production of the short films, videos and animations JM Creative makes for our clients, we pay a great deal of attention to sound quality. This week we’re delighted to be working again in the audio studios of “Cranc” in Cardiff. In our view it’s the only place to go for outstanding sound recording and design.

Brilliant to kick off phase two of our “Transforming Towns” filming project last week in Aberdare. The video we’re making will tell the story of the old rates building in the centre of town…highlighting what a difference regeneration can make. The building has been brought back to life with a stylish coffee shop ‘Coco’s’ on the ground floor with high spec one and two bedroom apartments completing the transformation.

Great to be collaborating with Careers Wales again this week. We’ll be at Celtic Manor Resort making a series of short films about a range of jobs within the hospitality sector. A really interesting project to work on.

JM Creative has always been committed to developing young talent in Wales and so we are thrilled to see that the latest series of “The Night Manager” has been directed by Georgi Banks-Davies. Georgi worked with us at the beginning of her career and it’s fantastic to see her doing so well. Congratulations.

As December arrives, JM Creative celebrates our collaboration with Picl Animation to create the Christmas on air identity for S4C. Focusing on some of the remarkable things that happened in Wales during Covid…this project was a joy to work on.
