As reported by BBC Sport Wales, we’re hearing that Glamorgan will announce that Ryan Hadley will be retained for the next two County Championship matches in June. The expectation is that Nathan McAndrew will now only play in the T20 Blast.

Taff & Daff understands that Tom Norton is going to join up with the England squad to bowl at their batters in preparation for the first Test against New Zealand next week.

He’s been cited with an “exciting release point”, has clocked 83mph, and been compared to Tim Bresnan by Mark Wallace.

Tribe named in the England Lions squad for two four-dayers later this month. No place for Kellaway, Crane or Carlson who have all started well.

Asa Tribe has scored 310 runs at an average just over 34 to start the season in County Championship Division One but there was no place for Ben Kellaway, Mason Crane or Kiran Carlson in the 15-man squad to take on South Africa A at the end of the month.
