VISIT THE FOREST OF DEAN WITH US!
AD | Where we stayed:
🛏️ We stayed in THE OWL'S HOOT which was spacious and perfect for the 4 of us. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. There's a lovely selection of family games (which went down well with the boys) and the private, secure outdoor space was perfect for the boys. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

What we did:
Stick Man Christmas Trail
🌲 We love the outdoors so this was right up our street! The boys loved looking for the hidden letters and exploring the woods. The play area was a great way to end the walk. Parking is chargeable but, I'd recommend for a low cost day out.
🥓 A registered charity that depends on income from visitors - the staff are super friendly and the boys enjoyed exploring. Santa was brilliant and very good with the boys - they are still shocked that he knew their names!
Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo and NEW Indoor Mini Golf
🦋 The boys loved walking with butterflies and trying to spot caterpillars. Charlie was very excited when they started to land on him. The new indoor mini golf was the perfect way to end our visit!
Bake with Santa
🍪 The boys faces say it all - they absolutely loved making their own gingerbread with Santa (and recieving a present!) I think it's up there with one of their favourite Christmas activities. I would highly recommend it.
🥪 Everything was so tasty (must try the halloumi and avocado ciabatta) and we loved the atmosphere - perfect spot if you're in the town centre.
🍰 We all had Afternoon Tea which was delicious - the Apple&Gingerbread Layered Cake was my favourite. It was so nice to see the kids Afternoon Tea was designed with kids in mind - jam sandwiches are always a favourite!
