🌈 Who decided painting houses normal colours was a good idea anyway?! 😂

Only in Tenby could you have a pink house, a blue house, a yellow house and another blue house all in a row… and somehow it looks absolutely brilliant! 😍🏡

Throw in some golden beaches, crashing waves, stunning cliffs and a few thousand holidaymakers, and you've got one of Wales' most loved seaside towns! ☀️🌊

And let's be fair… Tenby wouldn't be Tenby without those colourful houses! ❤️

📸 DON'T WORRY, I'M NOT GIVING UP THE DRONES! 😂🚁
I know most of you follow SM Droneography for the breathtaking views of Wales from above, and let's face it, you probably don't want to see everything else I get up to with my camera! 😂
So I've decided to give my other photography its own little home!
📸 Introducing SM Photography!
When I'm not flying drones, I'm usually wandering around with my camera, photographing everything from live gigs and events to wildlife, modelling, macro photography and pretty much anything else that catches my eye!
And with winter approaching, we all know what the Welsh weather is like! 🌧️💨😭
There are going to be plenty of days when the drones are grounded, but that doesn't mean the camera has to be!
Rather than filling this page with everything I photograph, I thought I'd keep the two separate.

🦀 Rock pooling at Port Eynon!
I wanted to take the kids rock pooling and Port Eynon was recommended to us.
We’d only been there about 5 minutes, lifted up one of the rocks and found a huge crab underneath! 🦀 The kids were absolutely buzzing 😂
Safe to say, they loved it — and there was loads more to explore with the tide out.
Now I need some more places to try…

Something a little different from me today 📸
I don’t post many of my camera shots, but I spent Saturday capturing the Newport Food Festival from ground level as well as from the air.
The city centre was absolutely packed, with loads of colour, food, entertainment and brilliant atmosphere throughout the day.
Here are a few of my favourite camera shots from the event.

What a great turnout for Newport Food Festival yesterday! 🙌
There’s SO much going on in this one photo! 👀
Can you spot the giant chicken and a couple of dinosaurs amongst the crowds? 🐔🦖🦖
And take a look beyond the festival at those incredible old buildings lining the street. They just don’t make buildings like this anymore! ❤️
The more you zoom in, the more you notice — the stalls, the crowds, the characters and all that amazing architecture. There’s so much to see in one picture.

The sun setting perfectly through our iconic Transporter Bridge.
I honestly can’t wait for the restoration work to be finished. I feel like I’ve been waiting years to see this incredible landmark fully restored and back in action! 😂
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer. 🤞

I’m really pleased to be working with Newport City Council to capture this year's event, from the sky with my drone and on the ground with my camera. 🚁📸

After sharing Cardiff from above, I thought Bristol deserved a turn!
Bristol City’s Ashton Gate looking pretty spectacular under the lights, with the city stretching out behind. ❤️
And eagle-eyed Only Fools and Horses fans might spot something familiar behind the stadium… Nelson Mandela House! 👀😂
