A care home nurse who lied about calling 999 after finding a resident unresponsive has been suspended from the register.

Nursing staff working bank shifts at three NHS hospital trusts could lose tens of thousands of pounds in retirement income after their employers announced plans to transfer them to a private nursing agency.
