What a pleasure it was to meet the brilliant Mark H Evans and Hannah Jones - AKA Sonic Coins + Icons - this week at in Llanhilleth.

We had a chat just ahead of the first year anniversary of their excellent debut album SOHAR and ahead of the release of their first single NO NEED TO HIDE at the end of this month.

- We nattered about Mark's link with Charlie Adlard (artist on everything from Judge Dredd to The Walking Dead!) and his incredible artwork on the album and the forthcoming singles.

- We talked about Mark's adventures during the post-grunge era in The March Hares and in the 1990's Cool Cymru movement in The Jonah Hex.

- We chatted about Hannah's incredible soaring vocals and a friendship that dates back 30 years!

- With album #2 being polished as we speak, they revealed plans to turn their brand of dark, driving, cinematic style of electronica into a live sound!
