The event was a day-long conference packed with seminars discussing topics such as wellbeing at work, best practice for creative freelancers, and how to enable change throughout the sector.

There was plenty of merch on offer to conference delegates from and !

Looking forward to putting some of these flyers up in work, and digesting the information from the various books and leaflets collected at the event!

Preparations have begun for this Friday's Big Brunch for in the Business Lounge at in Cardiff. Posters are going up in the lounge, and emails are circulating among the businesses at 1 Capital Quarter.

The event will also feature a panel discussion on the theme of Mental Health in the Workplace, with our panellists being announced later this week.

On Friday October 24th, Seraphim Pictures will be hosting a Big Brunch in aid of Mind in the Business Lounge at Regus, 1 Capital Quarter.

Regus clients in the Cardiff area are invited to attend this fundraising event from 12:00 - 14:00 to enjoy sweet and savoury foods made and donated by Regus clients working at the centre, in return for donations to Mind.

There will also be a panel discussion during the brunch on the topic of Mental Health in the Workplace. The panel will be livestreamed on the day for those unable to attend the event. The panel members will be talking about attitudes to mental health at work, how to recognise potential mental health issues, and practical tips we can all implement at work to look after our mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Mind fight for mental health every day - through their information, services and campaigns, they spend every day tackling stigma, barriers and isolation so everyone can get the right support at the right time.

Just £10 raised helps fund Mind's Infoline advisors to be there for someone with nowhere else to turn. £47 raised can help keep Mind's Side by Side online support community open for 30 minutes.

Penblwydd Hapus Blaidd Drwg / Happy Birthday Bad Wolf!

Bad Wolf TV opened the doors to Wolf Studios Wales in Cardiff today, providing screen industry workers, fans, and members of the public with insight into the company, and the people who bring shows such as Dr Who, His Dark Materials, Industry, and the forthcoming The Other Bennet Sister to screens around the world.

Today's 10 Years Of Bad Wolf event included multiple panel talks discussing topics ranging from Sustainable Production and Wellbeing initiatives, to working with broadcasters and distributors, the process of setting up a production company, and also sneak peeks of trailers and footage from forthcoming productions.

The afternoon provided valuable insights into Bad Wolf's 10-year journey producing content for the likes of the BBC, HBO, Sky and ITV, with plenty of interesting talk about the years to come. Hopefully it won't be another decade before the company hosts such another worthwhile event...

A little something for the weekend... Expiry just got a brand new international poster ahead of a new marketing push for the film on Amazon Prime...

Here's your first look at the new International Poster for Expiry!

Our film has been generating some extra attention recently due to the AI and wearable tech aspects of its story, so we're launching some new artwork, along with a push into more international territories. As of this month, Expiry will be available through select distributors with subtitles in French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese!

The new poster will be followed by a social media and online ad campaign, accompanied by electronic billboards starting in the UK later this month. Look out for our adverts, and let us know where and when you spot them!

Chilled atmosphere and different mood lighting to the office at ...it provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of London in order to focus on some work tasks...

Yesterday evening and Cymru held a speed networking event at BBC Roath Lock Studios at in Cardiff. The event was an opportunity for freelancers working in the screen industries to network and engage with local employers. Seraphim Pictures was one of 18 companies taking part in fourteen rounds of networking appointments followed by a more informal open networking session.

It was great to meet a lot of new faces, make new contacts, and network with existing contacts working in the screen industries in South Wales. There was much to be said about the current state of the jobs market for the UK screen industries, and the challenges facing freelancers trying to survive in the current gig economy.
