Consistent posting? Don’t be daft! How are people showing up 4 - 5 times a week when you’re out here fighting for your life just trying to reply to emails??

The hardest part of posting is for most small business owners usually comes down to two things:

1 - Finding the time to actually sit down and do it.

and 2 - Knowing what to post once you finally get that time.

So we just throw a post up to convince ourselves it’s better than nothing because we don’t have a real plan.

Then the cycle repeats and we start dreading posting at all, because it isn’t really working anyway so what’s the point?

But what we need to remember is consistency DOES work when it’s done with purpose.

In just 4 weeks, my client went from roughly 900 views to over 21,000 - a 761% jump! That’s more than 20,000 extra people seeing their business in a single month and that kind of visibility can be a huge deal for a small business! And it happened simply by showing up consistently with a clear plan…

This notification is basically Facebook's version of a gold star right? 😂

I’ve been posting for a client and really digging into what actually gets people talking (and more importantly, commenting), and we’ve seen some amazing engagement on recent posts!

Why’s engagement important? It’s what pushes your content out to more people and that means more eyes on your business (and more chances for the right people to find you 👀).

So before you post, think - what does my audience need to hear that will make them FEEL something today?

My inbox is full of all the behind-the-scenes conversations that keep things running smoothly so here’s a peek at what emails landed recently:

📝 Feedback notes from a client’s content hub
🎨 A reply to my questions about fonts + brand style, confirming how they want their feed to look and feel.
💌A Slack thread with questions about a marketing email going out this month
📅Confirmed topics + ideas for a clients Facebook group posts
💸Yet another invoice from Apple for extra storage (shock! Why is it always full 🙃)
🎉 And my favourite: a reply from a new client after their first round of content telling me they’re happy with everything so far!

So if you’re wondering why it all feels so hard to handle on your own, it’s because there really is a lot that goes into making your marketing actually work.

Now I know this is probably a very generous version of your to-do list…but you get the idea 😂

Running a business means there’s already enough going on behind the scenes:
Emails, invoices, meetings, clients… and then there’s social media stealing whatever energy you had left 😩

But it doesn’t have to keep being tomorrow’s problem when you’ve got the right support!
