Job hunting can be so tough..

The rejection, the imposter syndrome, the constant worry about whether or not you said the right thing in your application or interview.

These feelings can be further compounded when you have been made redundant or are having a difficult time with your employer.

It is hard to show up and be the best version of yourself in an interview when you’re not feeling the best version of yourself right now.

Many of us have been there and many of us will go there throughout our working lives.

Be kind to yourself. Talk to yourself as you would talk to someone you love in this situation.

The way you speak to yourself matters, especially during tough times.

I have followed Alison’s career all my life and I’ll say at points, my own understanding of her views limited my ability to engage with it. Just recently these campaigns for me say “right person, right message, right time”…

…and the message for us as people sometimes as humans? “Get over yourself every once in a while - you’ll be surprised what you find underneath”…

It is an ongoing journey of growth and learning, but I stand in solidarity with Alison on this matter.

Amazing post here from Enchanting Forest Healing - raises some poignant points about how we balance our lives on social media.

Just recently I have been working on a piece around online narcissism, and that too raises points about how we curate ourselves. Quite often, the Offline version of you, can get neglected - well done Kayley, for finding that balance! - that’s a for me!

This is what I had been missing........

Instagram is just another DISTRACTION!! 😡
I had lost myself to something I didn't believe in!
I had never been on social media before this past 4 months....
So I am now again, and have always been in control of my own life!
Now that I have taken hold of the leads once again and removed the chains from around my neck......I can breathe 💫
I love sharing my life with you beautiful people 😁🙏❤️
But I also love living my life ❤️😁🙃🧚‍♀️✨️
And I love connecting with you beautiful souls, I truly do ❤️🥰
However, I have a problem being told what to do!
When something becomes a must/ have to do......
I can't!
I won't!
I see so many people on here complaining about pleasing a robot just to get seen....
It's true!
Unless you show a little or a lot of flesh, the algorithm does not want to show you!
I'm fed up with being stuck in that trap!
If I want to show some flesh, then I will because I want to or because it's just what i wear!
But when i see people putting their ass in every post just to get seen....it's heartbreaking
That's fine if that's your thing 😉
However, when it has nothing at all to do with the message, they are spreading.....it's quite sad to think that's all they have left to do
So I will be on here, still doing my thing 😁✌️✨️🧙‍♀️🕊🧚‍♀️
But when I can fit in the time between enjoying life and growing spiritually ✨️
I don't care what anyone says
You can't be living a true connected magical life and be on social media all the time!
Practice what you preach 💫❤️
