This one hits deep. ❤️ Gav shares a powerful story about Griff, the band’s long-time sound guy, who was in a dark place—angry, heartbroken, and totally lost. That was until a trip to Mallorca with soul legend Nolan Porter changed everything.

One heartfelt conversation later, and Griff’s life turned a full 180. Now? He’s the happiest man in the world, with a beautiful family and a whole new outlook.

Nolan’s impact wasn’t just musical—he was a truly special person. And losing him, thanks to COVID cutting their future plans short, still stings.

This is more than a clip. It’s a reminder of how one person can change your life.

When you’re a deaf drummer, hearing the music is only half the battle—feeling it is everything. Gav shares how Mooty (bass legend from The Signatures) always puts his amp right on the drum riser so Gav can feel every thump of the bass in his bones. 💥

They’re also chatting about those mega drum stools (shoutout to Porter & Davies) that let you literally feel the kick drum through your seat. But let’s be honest—who wants to drop a grand without trying it first? 😂

And while the audience might be out there clapping and cheering, Gav’s in his own little world—locked in with the band, chasing the groove. 🔥

Back in 2017, the band lit up the beach—literally. Gav tells the story of one of his favourite gigs ever: fireworks blasting behind them mid-set, hotel windows lighting up with reflections, the crowd losing their minds, and Steph perfectly timing her cue with, “Mr Firework Man, HIT IT!” 🔥🎶

It was magic.

Fast forward to now? Let’s just say… things ain’t what they used to be. Venue refurb? A bit of plastic on the stage and a whole lotta scaffolding. 😂
