This week we're heading back to California to drink a rather good Cabernet Sauvignon.....and Jaff has certainly done his research this time! Prepare to learn some fascinating facts about grapes!

As usual the conversation bounces around, covering topics such as Roger Waters' big opinionated mouth, the return of Radiohead, and the hopeful possibility of a Shane Embury set at a certain Bristol festival.....

Musically, it's been one of the best weeks of the year!! There's a death metal album from Ireland, a lute album from Norway, an experimental split from Australia, multiple black metal albums....even gets a spot!! All this and loads more.....It's one hell of an episode!!

After the festival silly season, normal service is now resumed and this week we nip over to America to sample a bottle of Zinfandel.

There's predictions about Bloodstocks extra headliner, a tribute to the brilliant Brent Hinds, some (not so) unusual activity in the Cradle Of Filth camp...and a healthy serving of the usual nonsense!

This week's choice of releases is not for the faint of heart! There's an incredible blackened post-metal album, a soul-wrenching and drone-filled blackened-death record and plenty more to keep your ears and minds occupied! These are six releases that are definitely best listened to with wine....
