South Africa is the location of the week, where we find ourselves drinking a Syrah from a small winemaker in the Bovlei Valley.

There's more pointless facts from Doctor Dave, Metallica's transition Into a family friendly 'party band', Bryn's mother-in-law gets a mention.....and Jaff has some interesting facts about mines!

And there's still some great albums being released, from jazzy oud compositions to groovy black-metal....there's plenty to get stuck in to!

Apologies folks....we should have had a shiny new episode for you at 1pm today, but the cursed imps in Spotify land had other plans!!

We've recorded it, edited it, and uploaded it....but until it finds it's way out of technological purgatory and onto streaming services, you'll have to make do with this picture of our glorious faces!!

We'll let you know as soon as it's available....in the meantime, it's Friday night so get yourself a glass of wine!!

We're back in the Mendoza province of Argentina to try a superhero inspired, hand-pruned Mallbec...and it's pretty bloody good!

There's a full run-down of the shenanigans, thoughts on the lineup, James Hetfield in an inflatable kangaroo costume, a mouthful of marbles...and (for some unknown reason) the chance to own some of Bryn's hair...
