Five content ideas to use this month if you're in a posting rut!

1. October is Halloween. Create posts featuring spooky decorations or trick-or-treating. You can also share Halloween recipes, ghost stories, or fun facts linked to your business.

2. We love seasonal changes in the UK. Share photos of foliage, cosy knits, and a pumpkin-spiced latte! Encourage your audience to share their own autumn pics.

3. October is breast cancer awareness month. Raise awareness by sharing informative posts and ways to support research and patients. Consider partnering with or donating to a charity.

4. Promote local events, festivals, and activities happening in October. Whether it's a pumpkin festival, a farmers' market, or a live music event, share details and encourage your followers to attend or participate.

Here are my best tips to save you time AND show up on social media:

1. Stop posting ad-hoc. Spend one day a month creating content and schedule it to run in advance.

2. Use a time-saving app. My top three are for designing images, .app for editing videos, and for scheduling posts.

3. Stop faffing. Don't spend hours creating one post. Set yourself a time limit for content creation.

4. If you're working on a PC hide your phone. Put it out of sight. It's too much of a distraction if it's sitting in front of you.

5. Ask for help. If you're too busy running your own business, hire an expert.
