It may not be a BBC or Channel 4 production. I may not be the best presenter, or know what I'm actually saying or doing 😂
I grew up with my face glued to music TV shows, such as The Tube, The Word, The White Room, MTV, Hitman and Her, The Old Grey Whistle Test, and TOTP amongst others. And my ears glued to the radio for the top 40 charts, John Peel, Annie Nightingale, Mark & Lard on the beeb, to LW Atlantic 252, and Claire Anderson (my first call in to a show aged 15, on Rock FM)
Sometimes in life you get opportunities, sometimes you don't. Sometimes, you have to wait for the world to be a slightly different place to get a chance to carve your own path.
I could never have done this 20 years, or 30 years ago. I'm glad to have kept that spark of a dream alive in the background though, and to have taken moments to fan the flames 🔥
Thanks to all the influential and inspiring people I've met along the way, and those offering encouragement and support.
And heartfelt thanks to John, for making it happen, I am grateful for your alignment to my path ❤️🥰
If this is the only full "show" I ever do, I'll take that and be proud as punch that I gave it my best shot and achieved something I wasn't entirely sure would be possible! ☺️🥰
I dare say there'll be more shenanigans from me next year though! 😆😘❤️ xx
