Did you know, fir cones aren’t just for Christmas!
This lovely 12 cupcake bouquet of peach roses, shimmery gold roses, fir cones, chrysanthemums and anemones was created for a 60th birthday this week. It was accompanied by a box of 12 floral cupcakes in the same designs. Colours to complement birthday theme.

🤩Good morning - just!🤩
A bright and sunny cake to brighten up this grey wet day!
This 4 layer lemon sponge filled with lemon curd / buttercream and covered with white chocolate ganache and a final coat of delicious lemon buttercream was ordered for a family get together.
Decorated with a mix of palette knife painting, marking and piping directly onto the cake.

It’s been another busy week here at Gillyrose Cakes with a mix of festive bakes and birthday celebrations.

I was asked to create a winter alpine themed set floral cupcakes for a ski loving birthday girl to include edelweiss, rock roses, hellebores, crocuses, spruce and juniper berries.
I hope I hit the brief- they were a first for me and a joy to make!

Good morning and happy Wednesday. Hope you’re having a great week so far. Had a day off yesterday celebrating our youngest son’s graduation from BIMM 🎸
It was lovely for our eldest son to join us (check out my stories for some shots)🥰🥰
The cupcake bouquet below featuring buttercream pink roses in differing sizes and shades was requested for a 60th wedding anniversary last week … congratulations on such a milestone 🌸🥂
