We're going on a Scout Camp! - the UK's only scouting board game.

I've invented a great new board game with a scouting theme and now it needs you.

Put your initials on the world's first scout-themed board game board - for ever.

Play the world's first scout-themed board game! The aim* is to pack a rucksack and get to camp where you will meet Horace Horrise mischievous scout in the mess tent. But BEWARE! There are plenty of pitfalls to avoid on the way.

The prototype for We're going on a Scout Camp! has been tested on a few scout groups and they love it! So that's that then; it's going ahead. We're going on a Scout Camp! will go into production during the summer and be out in time for eek Christmas 2025.

"So where do I come in?" you may ask.

Sponsor one of the rucksacks on the board that form part of the game by branding it with your initials, or those of a relative, friend etc. It would make a great birthday / eek Christmas present. I will add the initials (maximum three letters) to one of the rucksacks on the game board where they will stay FOREVER!

Alternatively you can pre-order now without any initials.

We're going on a Scout Camp! will retail for at least £29.99 plus p&p. Put your order in now (with or without initials) and pay for your copy of the game. This will not only fix the price for you at £29.99 and no p&p (no p&p UK only) but it will also enable you to get your chosen initials added. However...hurry. There are only 36 rucksacks to be branded and 12 have already been taken!

A great game for explorers!

HOT AIR BALLOON - A great game for older scouts
Give each scout the name of a famous person or let them come up with a name each.
Each person then has to debate why they should stay in the sinking balloon, citing all the positives. Leaders and the other scouts can throw in the negatives. (This may mean choosing the names one week, then going away and doing some research for the following week.)
Put the scouts in a circle on chairs. Let everyone speak. After each round of discussion they all vote on who they think should be ejected. The scout who receives most votes each round pushes their chair out of the circle slightly but can still debate and vote.
The winner is the last one left in.

We played Hot Air Balloon at explorers last night. It took up the whole meeting! The additional two people were Henry Ford and Mohammad Ali. This time of year you could make one of the people Father Christmas.
