On the 2nd of July 2025, this is the current state of the Agavedzi Sea Defence Project — where H.E. President John Dramani Mahama is expected to visit and cut the sod for the next phase.

I’m sharing this to highlight what’s really happening on the ground. These are raw, unfiltered footages — recorded when I traveled home to support my family after the passing of my dad.

At the moment, the active part of the project is in Amutsinu, where efforts are focused on protecting a school that is dangerously close to being destroyed by the tidal waves.

More videos will be coming up to give you all a clearer picture.

Please consider sharing this video to help raise awareness and hopefully reach the decision makers. The people of Agavedzi and surrounding areas deserve real, lasting solutions.

I want to applaud the entire Amandi team, NDC GHANA KETU SOUTH Hon. James Gunu John Dramani Mahama for their dedication and commitment to protecting our coastline. 👏🏽 Your efforts are truly appreciated Mawu ne yra mi

I tried to get project plans from the engineers on-site, but I was directed to the head office. Currently, the team is in Amutsinu, working hard to protect the basic school from potential disaster. 🙌🏽

I hope our stakeholders can help by bringing this to the attention of the President, so he can see the progress made so far. It would also be helpful if any project drawings or plans could be shared, as our people are asking important questions—and unfortunately, we don’t yet have answers.

As for the Agavedzi, Salakope & Amutsinu housing project, I’ve captured a video(drone shot) and I'm trying to gather more information before sharing the full version. Stay tuned. 🎥

Current situation in Agavedzi, Amutinu, and Salakofe — Ongoing housing project for communities affected by tidal waves.

It's disheartening to see our people still without proper shelter, especially after funds have been allocated for their support. We must do better.
