Unfortunately we’ve had to make the decision to postpone Cafe Mambo and will advise the change of date when we have one 😔😭

Cafe Mambo is back at Thornhill Golf Club!! 🥳🍾🪅 and this year will be raising funds for our chosen charity for this year, Cash for Kids.

Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across Dumfries and Galloway.

Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by illness, poverty, neglect or have additional needs. We believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full.

We work with grassroots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, and directly support families who often have nowhere else to go through our regular grant rounds.

We commit that 100% of every £1 donated goes back out to helping local disadvantaged children living in Dumfries and Galloway.

We’re happy to have the help of club member Michael Smith who is an ambassador for Cash for Kids lending his support with some of our events including Cafe Mambo and, later in the season, our Texas Scramble.

Please get in touch with us to reserve your tickets for this fun event. There will be a light bite menu available for those who want to eat on the night too. Hopefully the sun shines and we can make the most of our marquee and beer garden while enjoying Michael’s tunes 🎶🎸🎤

Introducing Michael Smith and Leanne

You might know him best for being one half of Ali & Michael in the morning or a superstar DJ but he’s swapping his sliders for dancing shoes and taking part in this years Ayrshire does Strictly!!

He’s never danced but Michael has performed in panto before. Unfortunately he got stage fright and forgot his lines! Let’s hope he doesn’t forget his moves this time round…

As well as being up early for the breakfast show, Michael is also the stadium announcer for Rangers Football Club!

And when he’s not doing all of that, he’s helping out his lovely wife Linda on the farm!

Michael’s co-host Ali won last years Strictly, so he’s got a lot to live up to!!

⭐️ Michael will be dancing with professional dancer Leanne

Leanne is a qualified hip hop and street dance teacher with the United Kingdom Alliance. She has been dancing since the age of 4 covering a range of styles such as Latin American, Disco, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Line.
