For long periods, it seemed that Windebank would be the thorny twig in the Redhawks nest but goals Ethan Lane, Jordan Gregory, Vanya Antonov & Luke Brittle gained them three points despite a late consolation from Cameron Pywell

They will re-run it in Gillingham Sunday night!

• Brandon Miles (Slough Jets) | 3 game suspension – Fighting

Additional comments: Sucker punch delivered to the head of an unwilling opponent, who was in a vulnerable position and unable to defend himself. The player also resisted the intervention of a linesman.

• Shay Woolmore (Romford Buccaneers) | 1 game suspension – Fighting

• Donald Campbell (Romford Buccaneers) | 2 game suspension – Fighting

Additional comments: Player resisted the intervention of a linesman.

• Alexander Cole (Romford Buccaneers) | 2 game suspension – Headbutting

That last one for me is poor… you’re wearin a helmet designed to stop vulcanised rubber at 100mph… and you thrust into somebody’s face… 2 games is very lenient

Just the 4 games this weekend as the Redhawks & the Dynamos head to head! Don’t be surprised if they take one each! Romford’s time doesn’t get any easier as they welcome the Jets that vanquished them 15 zip last weekend and the Chieftains make the long trip west to into the Fire at the Vindico!

Both Ben & Katelin are very disappointed with the recent article in the Financial Times - Katelin has made this statement

I am appalled at the recent, misogynistic
Financial Times article about women in Ice Hockey.

I have been a hockey fan for my
whole life. Not once has that been for
the “attractive” players that I fantasise I have a
relationship with. And I am sure all women in hockey
will say the same thing.

The article isn’t just disrespecting women in
ice hockey but sport in general.
It angers me that this topic is
even being bought up at all but
let alone in today’s society.

Whether you have watched the game for your
whole life or have started watching recently for
whatever reason, you are welcome to be there, keep
going to games and keep
watching this incredible sport!
