Amazing views towards Rhos On Sea and Rhyl, from Gwrych Castle woods, on Y Gopa, Abergele.

This walk takes you along some woods, climbing up until it opens up to some amazing views over Llanddulas, Rhos on Sea and the Little Orme in the distance. Keep following the path around the hillside to views over towards Pensarn, Towyn and Rhyl.
We then headed back through the beautiful woods.

Walk can be quite steep in places and also tough terrain paths, like rocks, roots, fallen trees, etc. Appropriate footwear is a must.

We walked from Rhyd Y Foel Road, where we could park the car, entrance seen on last couple of photos.

Ongoing works at Kinmel Bay have been paused for the school holidays.
The car park located on St. Asaph Avenue is fully open and looks great but still needs finishing.
Easy access to the beach from the car park and ramps to the beach also added.
Future plans I believe include toilets, childrens play area and picnic areas.
There is also Baysville Coffee and Grill along the promenade for refreshments.
