On 15 October at 7pm, candles will be lit around the world as part of the Wave of Light.

These candles are for every baby who is loved, remembered and missed.

For some, lighting a candle will be a quiet moment at home. For others, it may be part of a remembrance event surrounded by family, friends or other bereaved parents.

However you choose to mark it, there is no right or wrong way to remember your baby.

You might say their name.
You might look through photographs.
You might sit quietly with a candle.
You might choose not to take part at all.

Every baby matters. Every story matters. Every family remembers in their own way.

At 7pm on 15 October, we will light our candle for all the babies who died too soon, and for the families who continue to carry their love.

If you are taking part, you can share your candle using and join families around the world in remembering precious babies gone too soon. 🩵

For support during Baby Loss Awareness Week, Sands and other baby loss organisations are there for families whenever they need them.

Cosby Golf Club OPEN to everyone

📣 COSBY GOLF CLUB – OPEN TO EVERYONE! ⛳️🍻🍴

Cosby Golf Club is, first and foremost, here for our members — but we’re also very much here for our local community.

You don’t need to be a golfer. You don’t need to be a member. Everyone is welcome. Come in for a drink, join us for dinner, enjoy Sunday lunch, watch the football or come along to one of our events. You’ll receive a very warm welcome.

Over the next few weeks, this flyer will be dropping through letterboxes across Cosby, Broughton and Whetstone… and we thought we’d have a little fun with it! 👀

🔎 SPOT THE TYPO & WIN!

There’s a typo hiding somewhere on the leaflet. If you spot it, bring your leaflet into the Pro Shop and you can choose ONE of these prizes:

🏆 Complimentary lunch for 4 people
🍺 4 tickets to our Oktoberfest on 17th October
🏌️ A week’s worth of driving range balls
⛳ A two-ball voucher to play our wonderful course

So keep an eye on those letterboxes, get your detective hat on and come down and see us!

Cosby Golf Club — for our members, our community and everyone in between. ❤️
