It's official, after 27 years, I am no longer an Adobe user. That's right, 27 years using one type of software, and talk about a learning curve with new software.
So goodbye Adobe, and thanks for pricing me out of your service and hello Affinity and DaVinci.
I have to admit, I'm struggling with Affinity Designer as my workflow and muscle memory are all over the place, and my productivity is so slow in comparison, whilst with DaVinci, picking that up pretty easily.
But when your business is losing money, there is no interest from clients as everyone isn't wanting to risk and spend a budget, and getting AI to do it all instead, as this is more efficient for the accounts, so cuts need to be made.
Although it doesn't stop me from moving forward with my overall plan. That's the bright side, at least.
Next is to master the new software and start working to bring all my skills, experience and knowledge over the past 30 years when I started my creative journey to create the all-access production studio, here in Coventry.
So, my next question is, does Coventry need a Production Studio/Hub that's accessible and cost-effective to all?
